Searching for freebies, free stuff, and free samples online is a fun leisure activity for many people. I’ve been doing it for over 13 years! I like trying new products and receiving packages every week. If you’re new to freebie hunting there are some things that you can do to make your searching simpler and more successful.

First of all you should set up at least one email address dedicated just to free offers. If you don’t do this you will end up with a lot of spam and newsletters that will clutter your inbox. To maximize most freebie and free sample offers I have multiple email addresses because some offers are available one per email address, not household address. By having more than one address you can receive the same offer two or three times. Simply set up a separate email account for each person in your household.

In order to receive your freebies and free samples you will have to submit your name and information for each offer. You can do this quickly with the help of the Google form filler found on the Google Toolbar or you can download a program such as Roboform for one-click convenience.

Another handy item to have is a calendar. I like to use the Google calendar but you can use a desk calendar instead if that is simpler for you. Some magazines offer fantastic full size products for free at the beginning of each month. You can add a quick reminder to your calender so that you don’t forget he days. Websites some time list a start time for a specific day a free product will be offered. Believe me, they go quick so you don’t want to forget. You’ll be very pleased you had your calendar to remind you when you receive your freebies in the mail.

Some freebies are intended for specific types of business’s or people such as teachers or business owners. Many people fall into these categories but do not have an email to reflect it, for example, a home-school teacher or a person that owns a business but doesn’t own a website. You can set up a customized email address at mail.com that looks much more professional. You can choose fro options including @ teachers.org, @ representatives.com or even @ graphic-designer.com. There are over 30 different choices so you can easily obtain an email address that suites your profession.

I also find it useful to have a virtual voice mail box. Many of the freebies that you find will require a working phone number. It is simple to set up a free account at sites such as evoice.com or efax.com. All of the messages that are left in your voice mail box will be sent to you as an email or you can call your number and listen to the messages if you like. By setting up a virtual voice mail you can avoid any telemarketers and sales people that might call you.

Applying the thoughts you’ve read about here to your freebie searching efforts will prove to be extremely helpful. You will receive more free samples and freebies with multiple email addresses and no more junk in your inbox. Remembering dates and times will ensure you never forget a free giveaway if you keep you calendar marked and a customizable email address and virtual voice mail will improve your chances o receiving a broader range of free samples, freebies and free stuff available online.

I like really free product samples, but then again who doesn’t want to get things they normally buy for free? I became obsessed with getting free product samples when I was in college. Like most college students I was poor, and I mean dirt poor. I mean, working 27 hours a week for $6.50 an hour poor. My diet consisted of Ramen Noodles and Totino’s Pizza and I would generally wear the same clothes 3 times before washing them. It wasn’t that I didn’t like clean clothes or eating real food, but I could barely pay my electric bill, let alone buy laundry detergent or gourmet food. But living like that can only last so long, so I eventually chose I needed a solution.

Thank Al Gore for the internet! After about 4 months of living on my own and suffering the life of a pauper I did a Google search which changed the way I thought about Tide and Totinos. I search for “free detergent,” not really expecting to find much. But to my surprise, I found a number of websites giving the stuff away. No shipping charges and no commitment to buy anything. They just wanted to send their stuff to my door, and I was more than willing to take it.

Now this leads to the huge question, why are companies like Tide and Coca-Cola giving their products away? Are they that desperate for customers that they would give their product away for nothing. Of course not, in fact, companies of that magnitude would probably survive even the worst economic depression. But they also like getting new customers and increasing their share of the market. Most of the people who buy brand name items are very loyal and will never change. So by giving away samples they can gain a residual customer base that keeps them going strong, even in the event of tough economic times or fierce product competition.

Is anything in life really free? That’s the question I questioned myself before sending off for my first sample years ago. And occasionally the sample would be escorted with a prepaid postcard/survey to fill out. But most of the time just having the product in my hand is all the promoting companies want. Of course, they also get free advertising. What do I mean? Well, just about any marketer will tell you, the best form of advertising is always word of mouth. So if I convince just one other person to try their item, then I’ve paid for the sample hundreds, maybe even thousands of times over.

Want to get some free samples for yourself? In this website you can find lot of free sample programs where you can enter your zip code to find out what free product samples will start flowing to your door. This is one of my favorite free sample websites, as they’ve been around for a long time and send nearly all name brand items. They also like to send coupons for additional free or discounted items with their samples. Also, I’ve never been called or bothered by sales calls meaning they stand by their word NOT to sell my information.

Yes, that’s right, I like really free product samples. I get as many as possible. And with economic times the way they are, you might want to consider doing so too.

I hope you can find plenty of your favorite freebie product samples here in this site it self. If you are specifically looking for some thing don’t hesitate to post a request in comments section. Some of our moderators certainly take you request into serious consideration.
